SST 's Health & Weight Management Support Page
I'm glad to announce that the Weight Loss Challenge from 2016 and 2017 was successful. I wanted to help 100 people reach their commitments to lose weight in 90 days or less. I didn't get 100 participants, but I got 35, and out of that 35 half actually lived up to their commitments and those ones were satisfied with their results. The ones that didn't live up to the commitment, never called back in....and isn't that how it goes?! It takes commitment and dedication to make it happen. Here's how it went for me. I lost a total of 36 lbs in 6 months which was 30 the first month, then up 10, then down 16.....sometimes its a bit of a roller coaster. Then the next 6 months I sold my home and moved 3 times, had all kinds of roadblocks in my life and gained 20 lbs back. So in Feb 2018 I started on the cleanse again. I lost 18 lbs this time. Now I'm in a pattern of primarily taking several supplement products to assist me because I can't get in the exercise I need until things in my life slow down a little. I may not be doing the most ideal thing, but I'm doing something! I didn't gain or lose any weight from Feb 2018 to Feb of 2019. I'm considering that a success as well although let's look at 2020. I gained 16lbs from March to October 2020, think about the year, a lot of stress, and for me, a lot more sitting than usual, and a lot less physical activity. It looks like I'll be starting up some more weight management activity in 2021. There are still lots of ideas you can check out at the old website, and later on when things slow down for me we will do another challenge.
